Meet the artist
Nice to meet you. I'm Gili. A chef, artist and self-published author. I love being creative in various ways and this website is a showcase for part of my art portfolio, which I am still actively building and developing. In 2021 I published my first fictional romance novel and in 2022 I co-published a WWII aviation pictorial of the nose-art photography work that I assisted in creating with photographer Christian Kieffer. Some of my paintings are currently available for purchase upon request, as well as private commission work.

My Background
In 2018 I made a big career change from working in web design and advertising for years, I opened a restaurant. When the pandemic hit in 2020, and I was only able to take in a few takeout orders each day,
I started painting murals on the business's walls to pass the time. Those murals have been painted over by the new owners of that location since, but I still have some photos and memories left. Although I occasionally still work some gigs as a chef now and then, I am now revisiting my original creative roots again and creating more artwork on a regular basis.
